Community Tourism- What is it?

Community-based tourism is a type of tourism that emphasises the development of local communities. It is a form of tourism in which local residents invite tourists to visit their communities with the provision of overnight accommodation via shared AirBnB housing. Our partner communities open their homes to visitors and provide local experiences that allow tourists to immerse themselves into local life, creating a cultural exchange and the opportunity to learn different traditions. Nanny Town Community Development Project

Join us on a service learning journey into Nanny Town (Moore Town, Jamaica) the only Uncolonized Freeland in the Western Hemisphere, to uncover the mysteries of Queen Nanny and the Maroons.

The Queen Nanny & The Maroons Service Learning Ed-Venture is a 7/day 6/night service learning project that empowers you and your group to build upon the legacy of one of the worlds most renowned women, Queen Nanny, Leader of the Maroons.

Groups can select from one of several Service Learning Projects to participate. (Health Care Center Development, Environmental Protection Project, Maroon Town Bottled Water Project, Maroon Town Cultural & Tourism Development Project)

Rastafari - Livity _ Wellness For All

Livity is the realization that an energy, or life force, conferred by Jah (God), exists within, and flows through, all people and all living things. A primary goal in a Rasta's life is to expand their livity.

In Rastafari philosophy, livity can be enhanced by intense prayer and meditation (often enhanced by sacramental cannabis use), adherence to an Ital diet, and perhaps most importantly, loving behavior toward others. Livity has a strong focus on living a natural lifestyle that includes the consumption of natural foods and growth of natural hair.

This expression of love for others is done in recognition of a central love energy within all people, a concept often referred to as "One Love"
